This was a mistake made by Amazon. They are supposed to have corrected it. If you look for the book on Amazon again, click on “Look Inside”. If the sample chapters are LORD OF LOYALTY, you should try buying the book again, as it should be the correct version. If this does not work, please complain to Amazon and they will get it sorted for you. I am so sorry this has happened. I am sure you will enjoy the story when you eventually get it.

Thank you for your question. I research surnames local to the area the story is mainly set in, I think about names popular for the historical era and I also dredge up my schooldays' Latin and Roman/Greek history and mythology where some wonderful female names are to be found!

Lydia Bennett and Wickham, from Pride and Prejudice. Haha, no, just joking! Elizabeth and Darcy of course, although I also rather fancy Captain Wentworth and Anne Elliott from Persuasion. He waits so long for her! As does the Duke of Rochford in Candace Camp's "The Courtship Dance." I love strong, devoted, long-suffering heroes.

My editor at Entangled suggested it! She'd read a book I submitted to their Select line and thought of a spin-off I could offer as a freebie. Hence the appearance of "A Potion for Passion" on Wattpad. Knowing there are readers waiting patiently for your next chapter really spurs you on to produce fresh material.

I studied history at university and have worked in the heritage industry ever since. There are so many inspirational objects in museums, art galleries and National Trust houses, I don't think I'll ever feel uninspired. I also love reading the literature of the day, and primary sources, which help me get into the mindset of the people I write about.

I'm revising my second book for the Entangled Publishing Scandalous line, currently entitled "The Earl's Scandalous Secret" and due out in May 2017. This was originally published on Wattpad as "Miss Fortescue's Lessons in Love". I'm also learning how to publicise my first professionally published book, "Distracting the Duke", which hits the (virtual) shelves in February 2017. I'm self-publishing "A Potion for Passion" on Wattpad, one chapter at a time, which is free to read, and I'm also starting to think about my Gothic romance, "Lord Ansford's Folly" (working title) which will also be published by Entangled.
Well, you did ask what I was doing. But if you are reading this later in 2017, let's assume I've completed all the above and am overdue an update of my Goodreads profile!

Never, ever give up. Just keep learning, and don't be put off by the rejections. If you can do a professional course or series of workshops, that should help. Also enter competitions, especially Twitter pitch contests. But make sure you know what the rules are and exactly what to submit.

The fulfilment of a dream, and the belief (perhaps a foolish one) that I may actually be making a lasting contribution to Life, the Universe and Everything.
People read fiction to escape, don't they?

I beat myself with a rolled up copy of the Wiltshire Times.
But seriously, I haven't suffered from this (yet). I've been jotting down plots for nearly 20 years, so there's always something to fall back on.
