How do you get inspired to write?
Rachel Naples Usually from experiences I've been through or someone I know has been through and I think, wow, that's pretty amazing and could be really funny. Someone could really benefit from that story.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Rachel Naples From my life. The truth is that so much of comedy comes from adversity. I wouldn't change any of it, it's all been a huge gift.

What are you currently working on?
Rachel Naples I'm getting a TV series ready to take out to the networks in January, also writing another pilot.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Rachel Naples When I'm in my flow, I feel very connected to that mysterious force, that source of creativity and life. There's nothing better. And? I save a lot of money in therapy! :)

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Rachel Naples I go for a hike, walk my dog or exercise. Any right brained activity that relaxes me.
