Not effectively! I often end up procrastinating by doing really useful things like checking my sales figures, thinking up covers for books I have yet to write, or messaging other writers for a chat. But then, thankfully, inspiration usually hits and I'll get back into my writing (heaving a sigh of relief).

I'm currently working on a book series about a family. Although I've already mapped out each individual story, I'm working on the first book right now. It's about a dreamy dog walker who's obsessed with romance novels. It's a lot of fun.

I walk my crazy dogs and think, think, think. When inspiration hits I dash home, usually with the dogs protesting loudly, open my laptop, and type my ideas before they float out of my head.
