I work fulltime and have a 4 year old, even when I do get writers block, I have plenty to keep me occupied. I don't try to force a story. When it comes to me, I get it out asap.

If you want to write and enjoy it, do it. I am not making a living off of my writing (although that would be the dream). I do it for relaxation. It is my hobby, my downtime. If you love writing, do it.

I have one book that I started a while back, but let it fall to the side when I was not getting any inspiration. Now, I am not sure if I will try to continue with the book, or if I will start a spinoff of sorts of my last book, Perfectly You. Perfectly You has so many interesting people that the possibilities are endless.

I scribble down my thoughts and I begin to imagine it in my head. Sometimes it goes nowhere and I just let it go. Other times, it leads to more ideas and then I cant get it out of my head so I have to write it down.

The beginning inspiration for the new book was actually from a single character in a television show. The character in the book is completely different from the television character, but it was an inspiration.
