I was trying my best to avoid writing "Just another Vampire/Werewolf Novel". I wanted to come up with something different.
And while fleshing out the world of my Mercenary series, I hit upon a theme that I felt I should put into its own series.

And I watch movies and television shows with two minds.
The writer's mind (How did they do that? How would I have written it to communicate what they were trying to communicate?What's going to happen next? Etc.)
And the audience's mind (Is this a good flick? Does it entertain me? Do I feel as if I've wasted time, or have I instead gained something by partaking of it? Etc.)
