I am working on one project right now that is a memoir of growing up a child of deaf parents. I also spend a lot of the book writing about growing up in the Bronx (borough of NYC) in the '60s and '70s.
My next business book is brewing in my head right now. I am so inspired by other female entrepreneurs and I want to bring more of their stories to life. I am compiling a list of women business owners to interview for my next book.

To not be afraid to take a chance at writing. It takes patience and time. Go at it little by little and you'll be surprised at how the words come together. I started by writing short essays, and then they evolved into more story telling.

The solitude and concentration it requires. That might sound strange, but I like the quiet it affords me, so that I can listen and record my inner voice.

I don't fight it. I walk away from the writing for a period of time. Sometimes a few hours, sometimes a few days. When my deadline does not permit any down time, I write what ever pops in my mind and then review it, and likely place it in the trash. Somehow, that helps me get my writing mojo back.

I have been an avid reader from a very young age. I began to write stories about life events at age 10 and kept on writing periodically throughout the years. When I began blogging for business purposes, I found my writing voice.
