I deal with writer's block by reading. There are so many great stories out there. Some may, or may not remove the block for me, but the admiration I have for stories usually pushes me to do better. I'll go back to the part I'm stuck on and scrap it if I need to and just start over again. That usually helps and I always have a goal, an ending to my story so I don't get lost along the way.

My advice to aspiring writers is to never give up. Just keep writing, and if you self-publish keep at it. Always remember why you write. I write because I love to, and that's how I keep at it, even when I get discouraged.

The book I'm currently working on and the one that is about to be released are both from my Wolfegang series featuring Katerina Anderson. The science fiction series is a combination of my desire to write strong female characters, and my love for science fiction. I grew up watching and reading so much science fiction. Firefly is my absolute favorite show and inspires me all the time. I'm currently working on the second draft to the fourth book of the Wolfegang series.

I get inspired to write by my dreams, or music, and sometimes other books. Occasionally when I'm looking for something to read and I can't find what I'm looking for I write down the idea and write the story myself. I have a Pandora station dedicated to writing called the Xx radio. A lot of the music that plays inspires my mood to write.

To me, the best thing about being a writer is the freedom. It's a lot of work, a lot of dedication, patience, and attention, but the act of creating something is freedom. I can make up anything I want, any person, any idea and I can use words to shape it into something interesting, to make it something I would want to read, and hopefully others as well.

I'm currently working on the Wolfegang series, and currently am on the fourth book in the series, titled "When Elements Collide."

Brandon, I currently have the series at ten books total. This is for the main story arc and doesn't include short stories, or if I decide to do a spin-off. Per my outlines, the number of books shouldn't change :)
