Hi Judith, I really enjoyed your book. I am so glad to hear that you are doing a sequel to the book. Would you be able to provide a timeline as to approximately when it will be available? I can't wait to get my hands on it. My wife, who is also a Barry Manilow fan, thoroughly enjoyed it as well.
Judith Kohnen Ian, thank you for sharing your joy in reading my book! It's encouraging and comforting to know that you and your wife found it so enjoyable and now await its sequel. Please spread the word, share with your friends and neighbors, as it is definitely not just for Manilow fans. The sequel---For The Love Of Mandy---should be ready for release in the fall (definitely before year's end). It will provide answers to any loose ends from the first book and entail more adventure and suspense, as Garry goes on a dangerous quest to get his Mandy back (because things don't end quite like the reader thinks it does in the first book!). A third novel---Whispering Hope---is also in the making and is about the boy Robbie, now a grown man who works for NASA; it will reveal his own story of romance. Due to caring for my mother who lives with me (now at the end stages of Parkinson's Disease) and upholding my professional intuitive and healing business on the side, writing has been quite challenging lately, but I AM writing! :))) I've also been helping other new authors with their writing. I'm doing a book signing at the RWA2015 Indie Book Signing in New York (at the Marriott Marquis) on Thursday, July 23rd from 3p-4:30p---a fifty book "giveaway" for anyone attending the RWA conference. I love hearing from readers and greatly appreciate your question, Ian! I'm always interested in hearing what parts were most enjoyable for readers, and any parts least likeable about my writing or story.
