Gloria Craw I sent an email to my publications manager. Hope to have an answer for you soon!
Gloria Craw Sorry I missed this question. Yes it's titled Atlantis Quest. Due out in Febuary 2016. I so appologize for th late reply.
Gloria Craw I started thinking about it while I was studying anthropology in college. I was particularly interested in archaeology at that time, and one of my courses did a unit on undersea archaeology. We read up on different finds and theories about whether or not Atlantis really existed, and if it did, where it was and what happened to it. The prevailing opinion is that Atlantis is a myth, but it started me thinking about the possibility of a highly advanced Atlantian people. So I had the idea for Atlantis Rising rolling around in my mind for a decade before I started to write it.
Gloria Craw I keep my laptop with me at all times. I have four daughters involved in various activities, so I do a lot of waiting around for them to finish up. I've learned that I can write anywhere at anytime if I have my laptop with me. Fun fact...I've named my laptop Little Phyllis.
Gloria Craw I'm working on the sequel to Atlantis Rising. The manuscript is mostly complete. I'm working on finished touches now. It should come out early in 2016.
Gloria Craw My advice is to keep at it. Keep trying. I wrote two books before Atlantis Rising was picked up. Continue to educate yourself on the industry and the process while you wait. Most importantly, keep typing.
Gloria Craw I get to daydream as much as I want :)
Gloria Craw I don't really believe in writer's block. I think you can write yourself into a corner sometimes and not know where to go from there. When that happens, I'll usually take a drive and think things through. Nine times out of ten the answer will come. When it doesn't, I backtrack, use the delete button and start that part of the story again. I think the secret is to keep writing and accept that sometimes things are going to get difficult. Believe that you'll figure it out and keep moving forward.
