I love influencing other people to get the most out of their lives and to follow Jesus Christ. Writing provides me an outlet to influence other people all over the world. Many of my readers will never come to listen to me preach, and I may never have the opportunity to sit down with them and have a conversation. I can still influence them through my writing.

I've developed the discipline of writing every day. I've never had to deal with writer's block. I imagine I would deal with it by taking a break, reading a book or two to feed my thinking and creativity, and then coming back to the project.

I've enjoyed Judah Knight's Davenport Series. I like Jon & Meg Davenport. They seem to reflect the values I share, their romance and relationship is fresh, fun, and meaningful, and they've given themselves to serve others.

My wife and I, along with our six children, are writing a book called "31 Days to Successful Parenting." We hope to have it available sometime this fall. I've got another book being reviewed by a publisher called "Immovable: Standing Firm in the Last Days." While I cannot predict a publisher's schedule, I do hope to have it available as soon as possible.

I was preparing to teaching through a series on the Psalms in my church, but I knew that I could not cover as much as I would like to during the course of the two months of summer. I decided to write the book to offer additional study for my congregation. I knew that others could benefit as well, so I offered my book through Greentree Publishers.
