Without question, it's hearing from my fans. I don't want things to devolve into some sort of group writing exercise, but what they have to say is important. Sometimes they questions they ask, or points they make influence the story.

I don't think I get hit with writer's block in the classic sense. I've never been at a loss as to what to write. However, I do occasionally get stuck on how to write it. In those instances I try not to force it, and usually the way forward appears after a few days.
