Stephen Murray I tend to be a 'disciplined' writer. I do not wake up in the middle of night with urges to rush to the computer. My ideas formulate during the week 'in the background' of my mind. I try and find time each weekend to then sit and put my thoughts into writing. So far have not sat down with an empty mind - thank goodness !!
Stephen Murray The joy of creating something that people (apparently) enjoy reading. Very satisfying.
Stephen Murray Go for it ! Everyone has a story to tell. Make it happen!

Most importantly, I strongly suggest joining a writer's critique group. It helps to have objective opinions. You will also learn from the styles of other people's writing.
Stephen Murray Since writing "The Chapel of Eternal Love", I switched genres, and wrote a murder mystery set aboard the QE II luxury liner. That is now completed. I have recently started another murder mystery set in Las Vegas.
Stephen Murray Writing is an ongoing joy and relaxing hobby. I love it when I have time to let the 'creative juices' flow. It is exhilarating.
Stephen Murray My book entitled by "The Chapel of Eternal Love" was inspired by taking some out of town visitors to a Las Vegas Wedding Chapel. I had been seeking inspiration for a 'romantic novel'. While at the Chapel , we met a couple waiting to be married. I wondered what prompted them to get married by themselves - no friends, no family, no big white wedding. A slew of short stories flooded my mind. The result is "The Chapel of Eternal Love".
