Dina Haynes Get in the chair. Behind the computer. The only time I come close to experiencing writer's block is when I've been away from the story too long.
Dina Haynes I'm my own boss. The stories. Always comes back to telling the stories, meeting new characters, and seeing what you learn from them. And in romance, it's about that happy ending that, for some of us, remains elusive.
Dina Haynes If it's what you love to do, keep at it. Find good beta readers (I found mine here, on Goodreads!).
Dina Haynes I am currently working on the third installment to the series, which I expect to have out by March 2015. If you sign up for my newsletter on www.dinahaynes.com you can sit back and I'll do all the work for you. Well, I'll remind you of when it comes out, but you'll have to click the button. ;}

I'm also working on a side project that you'll have to stay tuned to my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/dinahaynesau... to see what it is. But I'll tell you this much, I'm excited about it.
Dina Haynes I've had stories running through my head since my first celebrity crush on Rick Springfield back when he was in the soaps. I was young (very very young). But in my process, I start with the characters. Being a visual type, I have to see them in my head first and then listen to the cues from who knows where (the great bucket of ideas in the sky). Once I have an idea of what the person does for a living and who she/he is, it usually starts with putting the person in a situation and seeing what happens.
Dina Haynes Since my most recent book is the second in my Leopards Unleashed series, I got the idea from the first book. It focuses on the character named Brom, who is the father of MacKenzie from the first book. You'll go deep and see the tortured soul behind all those muscles. The heroine, Siddhima, is inspired loosely by someone I know. If I tell you who it is, I'll have to kill you and if you know who it is, I'll deny deny deny! Lol

I like seeing different ethnicities on the page. This was my attempt at portraying a woman of Indian heritage. My apologies if I butchered it completely.
