Right now I have a couple of projects in the works. I am promoting my latest book, These Walls, as well as my very first novel, Unfamiliar Faces. I'm also working on my next book, which is branching off of These Walls, turning it into a series, though These Walls can be read as a stand-alone. And there's another idea that I keep in my back pocket, based on a dream I had a couple of years ago, which really says something to me since I've been able to remember this dream and it happened such a long time ago.

I usually need to be in the right mood in order to write. Sometimes I just need to listen to good music, or I need to be in the right frame of mind. It varies day to day. No matter what, though I try to write at lease once a day, even if it's just a couple of sentences.

My most recent book is entitled "These Walls." I actually got the idea when I was a teenager. My favorite band back then was --and still is-- Hanson (yes, as in Mmmbop). I toyed around with some fanfic and I really liked the idea of this storyline. I've updated it, of course, and made a lot of changes since my very rough and immature first draft. Their music continues to inspire me, so much that I based one of the main characters faulty qualities from one of their songs, which is also where I got the name for the book.
