Just persist. If it's a blank day or week, where nothing seems to be happening, I take a break for a while and re visit it later. Sometimes, I jump ahead in the story and write an important chapter that's way ahead in the book, and then write the ones in between that lead up to it.

Being able to delve into other worlds, other characters and make them your own. I love watching how my characters develop, how they behave and how they sometimes take on a much bigger role in the story than I had originally planned for them. Writing gives you so much freedom to create, and is one of the most tress free activities I know of!
