J.L. Drake I do plan to write more, but after a little time has passed as I have two more series to go out first.
J.L. Drake Hi Lora, I apologize that I didn't see this before! In the future please feel free to email me at jodildrake@outlook.com for any questions as I see them before I get these.
If I were you I would in this order:
Broken
Shattered
Mended

Darkness Lurks
Darkness Follows
Darkness Fall

Then read my Blackstone Series which is a spin off of my Broken Trilogy.

Hope this helps and it's not to late.

J.L. Drake Hi Hadass,
I'm just now dipping into the foreign rights part of the publishing world. I would have no problem with signing them over to an Israel publisher but they have to reach out to my publisher first.
I think if you want this to move forward start contacting publishers in your country and tell them about my books. (Give them my buy links etc..) I would but I don't have the time with all that I have to get finished this year. If you need any information just email me at jodildrake@outlook.com

J.L. Drake Trust me Teodora, I'm working on it! :) It is something I hope to have happen, just a matter of catching the right producers eye! I'm on LinkedIn with the hopes my books will get noticed. Fingers crossed.
J.L. Drake No, it's very easy for me to write dark, it's actually where I'm most comfortable writing. It help's that I have a bit of a darker past to draw from.
J.L. Drake Honestly, I'm not sure yet. It will depend on how well Mark and Keith's do.
J.L. Drake Hi Clair, SO sorry about not seeing this until now! All, I'll say is that I just finished Mark's book then I'll write Keith's then possibly I'll release my "secret book" I have started. But shall see how people respond to this next series called "Blackstone."
J.L. Drake It's now called the Darkness Series,
Darkness Lurks
Darkness Follows
Darkness Falls

The first comes in July.

J.L. Drake Well, my next series "Darkness" is written and will start to release in July. I am currently working on Mark's book then will come Keith's. Not sure if Jake will get his just yet...because he and G return in the Darkness Series. Perhaps if there's enough interest I will.

J.L. Drake Hi Kortney,
I'm sorry I didn't know these questions were on here. Not sure why I didn't get a email.
What Lurks was out for 9 months but two of my series out picked up by a publisher. I had to pull it from Amazon but it will be re-released in late 2015. It will be on amazon and kindle. Thanks for your interested. If you follow me on my other social sites or stop by my website you'll see all my info on my up coming work and of course I'll be announcing about when What Lurks returns I have a rather large following for that book so I'll be pleased when it goes live again.
I hope you enjoy your Easte,
Jx.
J.L. Drake Sorry Sharlene, I'm not sure why I didn't get notified there were questions here! That's rather annoying.
Shattered (Book two) comes in May and Mended (Book 3) Comes out in June. Glad to hear your friend liked Broken enough to give it 5 stars. I hope you enjoy the story when you decide to read it. :)

J.L. Drake The idea for Nexus of Lies came to me in a dream I woke with a jump and the story kept going on in front of me. I raced to my lap top and started writing the storyline. Within a day I had a mass majority of the story written. I find my ideas come to me in the strangest ways but when they come they hit hard and fast. It's a bit of a rush :)
J.L. Drake I had a friend that wrote a novel and released it on Amazon and something inside me clicked/sparked/ jolted whatever you want to call it, it went off and I knew I had to give it a try.
I've always been interested in the arts, but I never thought I'd be a writer. My grammar and spelling is terrible and I'm dyslexic (yeah great combo right? Please feel for my poor editor because I do. Lol) so it never entered my mind to write. However now that I have I can't stop. I currently have six books on the go.
J.L. Drake I'm currently working on Nexus of Lies and the second to What Lurks in the Dark. However Nexus of Lies will most likely be released first. It's my favorite novel so far and I'm anxious to get it out.
J.L. Drake My advice is to just write with the programs they have out nowadays for indie authors the process is very easy. If you told me two years ago I'd have a book out on amazon I would have looked at you like you were losing it but truly it's not that hard.

If anyone needs help I'd be more than happy to assist the best I can. I understand it's all a bit much at times. I feel we all need to help one another out so we all have a chance of getting our books out there.
J.L. Drake First I can't call it writers block ONLY because I find it makes it worse. I call it "I'm in a corner."
I deal with my "corners" (ok...yes I hear how that sounds and yes it's funny.) by closing my lap top, grabbing my kindle and dive head first into a good novel. Normally I find with in three or more chapters I can write again.
J.L. Drake The story goes the way I want it to. If I want a happy ending I get one. If I dislike a character after awhile well bye bye you're gone.
I get to jump into a world that's completely different from mine. You got to admit that's pretty cool.
Lastly I'd say the best part of being a writer is hearing the feedback that people loved my story and my characters as much as I do.
