Natasha Jennings Writing for me is an intuitive process ... that is, I hardly plan anything but that said .... I often start a story with the end. My novel, 'Beautiful Me' is an example of this. The last line was already written in my head before even the first sentence had begun. The poem that followed was an add on.

I'm not sure if that answers your question ... for me, writing is trusting the intuitive process, trusting that once you start creating, the ending or beginning ... will just come.

Trust your story, trust your idea and let it unfold.
Natasha Jennings Works of fiction come from so many places. If you look for it ... there's a potential story in every moment. "Beautiful Me" ... comes yes, from working with and alongside the mentally ill but it also comes from many many 'moments' that I have observed ... seen, felt and heard.
Natasha Jennings If there's a story in you, calling you to write, just do it. Let go of fears and judgements and what if's ... just let it flow from that creative space that lives
within you.

Writing for me is like being an actress and a good actress just goes with the character, don't hold back.
Natasha Jennings When I see or hear or feel something beautiful ... it stirs something within me and that something calls me to write.
