I am currently working on 2 separate projects. A crime/suspense thriller, and the follow up to my debut Urban/Street Lit novel...both due out later in 2017.

Start by writing what you enjoy. Doing this will ensure that you are able to put your whole heart into it, and you likely won't find your story every feeling "forced". As a result, you'll produce a product that you can truly be happy with.

What I found with my first major writing project is that whenever I got writer's block, it helped me to put everything down and step away. While I was away from the writing, I'd normally find a movie similar to my book topic and then rereading random chapters of my book. I seemed to always come out of my writer's block phase after having a dream about what could happen next in my story.
