I have finished another book of stories based on growing up in Charleston County, South Carolina during the '40s and '50s The title is, "I thought he would be in jail". As you can see from this title, growing up had some rough spots. I am pleased with the book, but I now have to go through the painful job of editing.

Once I got into this, it took on a life of its own. My enthusiasm for writing increased because of the entertainment in the story material. I had less enthusiasm when it came to editing, however, I could see that this was improving the story.
