Kayla Eshbaugh I often do not feel in the "mood" to write but I write till I do feel in the mood. I also have to make sure I am not burnt out. Sometimes. I need to take a writing break and read something to fill up my creative well, or watch a show on Netflix. I don't truly believe in writers block. I feel like if I am not in the mood to write I can push till I get into it, and if that doesn't work I just need a break for a day then write the next day.

Kayla Eshbaugh Read. Like seriously READ ALL THE TIME. Reading good books help writers so much! Also, write without fear of someone hating your story. Write till you are done with your book. After you write THE END, go back and polish it up a dozen times, then show someone.
Kayla Eshbaugh Now that The Soulless is out in ONE week! Yay! I am working on Heir Restored book three in The Heir Series and The Keeper a prequel novella about Emma's parents.
Kayla Eshbaugh I listen to music. I love how music inspires me so deeply, and as I am listening I can often uncover a story problem I have or a plot hole. I love music!
Kayla Eshbaugh I had the idea a long time ago, when I first began The Heir Series to have a book devoted to the "Bad guy" I watch a ton of true crime, and in all honesty, as I was writing this book I kept thinking about how the bag guys all have reasons for turning out the way they did. Sometimes it was just them, sometimes mental health and sometimes it was how they grew up. I was excited to uncover fully Cade's back story.
