How do you get inspired to write?
Michael Goldberg I just write. I don't wait for inspiration. If you wait for inspiration, you won't write much. And what's important is writing every day when you're working on a novel or short story.

Michael Goldberg It's really simple. Write. Every single day. Write. And seek out a writing group so you can get some feedback. Read great novels. Read lots of great novels. You can't learn to write unless you read.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Michael Goldberg When you're deep in the trance that I call the narrative dream, it's as if you're inside a movie. The world you've created comes alive. It's an incredible feeling.
