Hi Betsy --
If you type in "LAST STRAW, Vengeance is not always the province of the Lord", it will come up with the cover image. I don't know why, but that's the way it works.
Thanks for the kind words,
DRJ

In the years leading up to 2008, I made several investments based on smooth-talking financiers. As the U.S. economy faltered and the real estate bubble burst, I lost a lot of money that I had worked all my life to earn. My latest novel, LAST STRAW, is based on a fictional character who lost even more than I did, but who, instead of accepting his fate, decides to punish those whom he sees as responsible for his making these risky investments.

I do the same. Sometimes I write around the block. I will write my idea for the blocked area down, even though I don't like it and leave it and continue writing the rest of the story. But I agree, sometimes just leaving it alone and doing something else is best.

For me it is. Fortunately, writing is like playing golf for me -- I love doing both, but I'm glad I don't have to make my living doing either!
