David, I just finished your wonderful book LAST STRAW and would like to post my review on Goodreads, something that I've done many times in the past w/ no trouble. However, when I type in book title/your name, no book jacket comes up allowing me to do so and when searching, it says "no results". HOW do I do this??

If you type in "LAST STRAW, Vengeance is not always the province of the Lord", it will come up with the cover image. I don't know why, but that's the way it works.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

David Rheem Jarrett 1) Read widely so you'll recognize good writing and develop a strong vocabulary.
2) Don't ignore the principles of correct grammar and punctuation.
3) Know how to spell! Don't expect your spell-checker to do the job for you.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

David Rheem Jarrett In the years leading up to 2008, I made several investments based on smooth-talking financiers. As the U.S. economy faltered and the real estate bubble burst, I lost a lot of money that I had worked all my life to earn. My latest novel, LAST STRAW, is based on a fictional character who lost even more than I did, but who, instead of accepting his fate, decides to punish those whom he sees as responsible for his making these risky investments.

What are you currently working on?

David Rheem Jarrett I am rewriting the first novel I wrote. It not turn out well enough to consider publishing originally, but I have a lot of passion for it and a need to tell the story. The lessons I've learned since putting it away years ago should serve me in good stead as I rewrite it.
