Angel Drew Thats really hard to say. Ideas just come when I see something. For instance, when I see something I might think up a scenario of what might be going on when I see the man in the car at the gas station throw a pack of cookies at his female passenger. Several scenarios come to mind with something as simple as that. I have a 'theme' like I did in THIS SUMMER STORM.
Angel Drew I have several things on the burner. I am currently working on a fantasy that I will have done next week. I have one I am working on that is YA and will focus on some of the situations teenagers find themselves in. I have a novel in the works that will be suspenseful, dealing with mental health and the disasters of adultery.
Angel Drew The best thing about being a writer is putting my imagination and storytelling together and someone else enjoying it. It's a sense of accomplishment. :-)
Angel Drew I take a break. But I don't forget about it. I look at things during my day and think of ways I can configure it into my story. Sometimes it makes sense, sometimes it doesn't. I'm careful to make notes of possibilities and look at them when I sit back down. It usually works.
