This is a tough question to answer. I get inspired everywhere actually. It might be a song I hear on the radio or a news article I read. It might be something I come across in my business or a conversation I overhear while in line at the grocery store.

I'm currently working on two projects. I've got a dark urban fantasy novella in with my editor right now targeted for release this October. I am also working on a second epic fantasy that is about halfway written as of this post. I can't wait to get both of them out to the public!

It has been said perfectly by others so I'll repeat their advice here: Writers write. Basketball players spend hours practicing on the court, lawyers spend years reading and practicing their craft before they ever take on a case, and writers write. Words and stories are slippery things that require careful handling. You must practice. A lot.

My favorite thing about writing is creating something from nothing. I get to bring worlds to life on the blank page, explore possibilities and what-if's with my readers, and share the magic that inhabits my mind. That act of co-creation makes my fingertips tingle!
