I'd have to say Natalia and Abaddon from A Familiar Problem. Natalia is the worst of me and Abaddon still loves her so that makes him phenomenal :)

Hi Alison,
It can take anything from 3 to 6 months, depending on the dreaded writer's block :) I actually wrote my first book in 6 weeks but then the editing took a fair chunk of time!
All the best

Hi Gordon.
Sorry but all of my books are exclusive to Amazon, at present. I am looking at pulling out of Select and going with other retailers but I am tied in for the next two months. All of my books are available as ebooks from Amazon, if that helps!
All the very best,
Sharon

The book is about a familiar who was a demon. She gets thrown out of Hell for being a little trouble maker and then faces a situation where she has both a demon and an angel fighting for her attentions. I gave the demon some really good character traits and the angel some bad ones. The idea came from watching people I know who are really, really good people making silly decisions and vice versa. It is interesting to see that we all have good and bad in us. That is what makes life interesting, after all!

I watch what goes on around me, how people interact or react to situations. That is usually enough to spark my creative juices.

The sequel to The Last Challenge; A Familiar Problem.

Believe in yourself. Then trust an editor.

I get to say how the book ends :)

Hack through it then re-write! One thing I've discovered is that I get writer's block when I write something the character wouldn't do, when I try to impose my own behaviours on them and they just don't fit.

I can identify with this...some author's insist the writer writes and the characters do as they're told....mine defintiely don't!

Thanks for the comment, Wendy. I must be bling because I've just seen it now! I totally agree, my characters are proper little sods :)
