Julie Wetzel It depends on what you mean. Are you talking about my characters, or in general? And are you looking for romantic?

If it's my characters and romantic, I don't know if I can answer that. It's like asking to pick a favorite among your children.

If not romantic. I like to combination of Darine and Zak. The way they banter makes me smile.

In general, Lucifer and the detective from the show Lucifer is currently my favorite couple. I like the back and forth pull without actually knowing what they want.
Julie Wetzel I'm so happy that you enjoy my work. I don't have a date on the next book yet. I'm currently finishing the final book in the dragons of Eternity series. As soon as I turn that in, I will get to work on the next in the Ancient Fire series.
Julie Wetzel I apologize. I don't know what happened here. The Sixth book in the Kindling Flames series, Blazing Moon, doesn't come out in print until March. I do not have a giveaway listed for this book yet, but that doesn't mean that one was not done when the book came out in ebook format. My publisher will often list giveaways when the books are first released to raise awarness. If you could please email me a juliekwetzel @ gmail.com, I will contact CTP and find out what is going on. They may be waiting for their first shipment of paperbacks to come in.
Julie Wetzel I will be working on the next Kindling Flames book this year, if it comes this year depends on when I can get it finished. I hope to have it for fall.
Julie Wetzel As soon as I can finish writing them. I'm currently halfway through the sixth KF book and working as fast as I can to complete it.
Julie Wetzel Kindling Flames is not a YA Series. If anything it's NA. Yes the romance does grow with the series, but the books do remain tame when it comes to the bedroom scenes.
Julie Wetzel No there are two more novels in this series.
Julie Wetzel Hello! Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. Life has been a little crazy here. I love making new book friends. I haven't had the pleasure of checking out your series yes, but the blurb sound great. I picked it up and will treat myself to a little down time once I finish my word count for the day. I'm participating in Camp Nanowrimo this month. Other than that, life is treating me well. I hope it's treating you well too. I really hope you enjoy Kindling Flames. - Julie
Julie Wetzel I'm not sure what you would consider amazing. I'm just your average Midwest girl out writing books. I think the thing that still surprises me it that I somehow became an author. I never dreamed of writing. I always wanted to be a volcanologist and study pyroclastic flows. Amazing how life leads to you unusual places.
Julie Wetzel It depends on the book. With Kindling Flames, it started with a basic plot line. I was given the idea of vampires fighting demons. The rest of the story grew from there. I've been working on a few other stories that started with a single scene and the plot line developed as we went.
Julie Wetzel This is a hard question to answer. What I am currently working on changes every time I sit down to write. Right now I have five project that I'm playing with: a Leprechaun story that fits into the Kindling Flames world, a dragon story set in medieval times, a modern day romance, the fourth book of The Ancient Fire Series, and a story about a physic writer being hunted by a vampire. And they are all in different stages of completion. If I run into an issue with one, or get frustrated with the way the story is going, I'll drop it and pick up one of the other stories for a while. Or, if I get a really cool idea, I'll switch over to what ever project that idea was for and work on it for a while. I know it's a crazy way to write, but it works for me.
Julie Wetzel I have to thank my sister for the idea for this book. She came to me and asked me to write her a story about vampires. It took me ages to decide on what I wanted the vampires to do. Again, my sister suggested that I have them fighting demons, and so the seeds for Kindling Flames were planted. It's come a long way from vampires fighting demons, but I am happy with how it turned out.
Julie Wetzel The best advice I can give someone is write! The only way to get better at something is to do it. And don't just concentrate on the story or plot line. Those are important, but you need to spend some time exploring the things that are never seen in the story. Sit down and have a chat with your characters. Know their history, their like, their dislikes, and the color of their socks. It may not seem important to the story, but those little bits will shine through fleshing out the characters. As they say, the devil is in the details.
Julie Wetzel I think the best thing about being a writer is sharing what you write with other. No words can describe the feeling I get when someone tells me they liked something I've created.
Julie Wetzel My sister turned me on to writing. When she was deployed with the US Navy, she was unable to get online to read her fanfictions, so she asked me to write her something. So I did.
Julie Wetzel If I run up on a problem that I can't think through, I find relaxing usually works to clear out writer's block. A hot shower or a nap gets me past most issues. If it's really bad, I drop the project I'm working on and pick up something else for a while.
