I have always loved to write. My mother, her mother, and her mother's mother, all loved to write. They mostly wrote poetry, which I do as well. Inspiration is always there for me. It's in my soul.

I am writing the second book to Raven's Innocence, which is Raven's Undoing. I am really excited about this book because there is a major twist in the story. I love writing this one, more so than the last even.

If you have an idea, go for it! Just sit down and write. There's something out there for everyone. And don't be discouraged by criticism. You can't please everyone, and that's okay, as long as you are true to yourself as an author.

Writing is a wonderful way of self-expression. It allows me to use my imagination and be creative. It's an outlet for me. Very freeing. It's like people who love tattoos; they are wearing their art. With writing, I am putting my art into words for others to read and enjoy.

I often find that writer's block is caused by my emotions, especially if I am stressed out over something. If I sit down and either do a quick journal entry, or even write a poem about how I'm feeling, it helps me release what is built up inside and it breaks down that wall I have. Then I am able to write on my book....
