Over a decade of practicing psychology and helping thousands of people, there were re-occurring themes that I couldn't ignore. People have been taught that self-love is good but you couldn't be selfish. You need to be proud but don't praise yourself because you need to be humble; you need to put other first, etc... With those messages, people get confused on how to go about truly achieve self-love and happiness. They ended up making sacrifices in relationships then turn empty and resentful. So I wanted to and had to write The Joy of Me for the people who are not able to come to see me or hear me speak so they could get the benefits from the message.

I don't believe in waiting to get inspired to write. You create a writing schedule and discipline yourself to keep it. You'll get inspired to write after you sit down and write.

I'm currently working on an online coaching program called, Master Your Emotions to Supercharge Your Life. As far as books go, the next one will be focusing on dating/relationships. Who knows, I might try my hands at fiction one day. :)

Don't do it for the money but for the love of writing and how it can serve others. And don't give up!

I take a break, go for a walk or make a cup of tea and sit outside with it to clear my mind. And then go back to writing.

I enjoy knowing that my message is going to help someone who I have never met. At the end of the day, everything dies but the words of wisdom live on.
