What’s the best thing about being a writer?
D.C. Johnston The research process if very rewarding, but my favorite thing is when a reader asks me questions about the book's characters and has a connection with the story.

What are you currently working on?
D.C. Johnston I'm working on "Sacred Gold", A Mick Scott Adventure. This is the second book in the series and has been a lot of fun to research. It is set in the Superstition Mountains near Phoenix, AZ. Mick has developed an interest in the famous Lost Dutchman Mine and begins his exploration... more to follow.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
D.C. Johnston I was researching information on lost treasures around the world and happened to see a headline about a recent Celtic coin discovery. After more research about the history of the coins, the basic story idea was formed.
