I've been a fan of Carrie Vaughn and Patricia Briggs for years, and thought that the world could do with another strong female werewolf lead. I also wanted to create my own urban fantasy world set in Denver, CO where I could explore some unique takes on vampires, werewolves and all the other beasties of the night.
