You can create a whole new world and the best thing is you can share it with others. I don't know how it is for other writers in the block, but, to me writing gives wings. We mortals can't stop time. Suppose if something awesome happens and even if you want it to stay forever, you can't make it happen. But memories stay with us. Writing keeps the memory afresh. Every time you read i,t you live it and become one with it. That's the best thing about being a writer.

This almost never arises when I don't write under pressure. When I know I can't do justice to my work, I just put the pen down and take a day or two off. I Sleep well and think of amazing things that happened to me in this beautiful world while going to sleep. I always almost NEVER write under pressure be it my book, short stories, script or poem. Especially when writing my book, some of the amazing plots came to me in my dreams and the real good ones always stay with me when I wake up.

Don't hesitate. Write. Believe in yourself. Once you complete writing, don't be hasty. Once you believe your book is ready, understand that your first draft is done. Keep revisiting your work and edit it numerous times. Once you are fully convinced with your work, find a good editor. Never give up.

I am preparing for the sequel to Karna - The Mortal God. I am also writing script for a short film named "WIFE" for a director friend of mine. I am also writing script for another untitled short film. The director has offered me the lead role as well in it. I write poems in regional language (Tamil) and I am writing songs for an Album.

I have been writing all along. Only that, what I wrote in the night did not stay back to see the crack of dawn. Meaning, I used to dispose what ever I wrote. Come the age of Internet and systems, I started blogging. My colleague at work used to read my blog and she kept telling me that I must write a book. The first thing that almost popped out was Karna.

Karna is my personal hero. Imagine someone who gives all and to all. Right from my school days, I kept telling my folks that I will write Karnapurana. My love for Karna found expression through this book, Karna - The Mortal God
