Hi Skye, I write because I love telling stories, and I love creating. The idea for Reluctantly Charmed came from stories my Granny used to tell me about the fairies and how strongly she believed in them. I have always thought her belief was really special. I use my own background a lot in my stories and in all of the characters I create. I just stretch the truth a little bit. I couldn't imagine not writing, as difficult as it is, it's ultimately all I want to do!

Hi Jayde, I'm so happy to hear you loved Reluctantly Charmed, and how great that you've now discovered a whole new genre. I have another book that came out at the end of last year The Enchanted Island, and I am writing at the moment but I did just have a baby a few months ago, so I am knee deep in nappies and not getting nearly enough time to work, but I'll catch up soon. Thanks so much Samantha, sorry for not getting back to you sooner, I only just saw this. I don't have any immediate plans to write a sequel, but I do have one in my head, so it is a definite possibility down the track. Reluctantly Charmed took me a long time to write and get published, and I still need some distance from it before I'd consider going back to it, as much as I love it, I wanted to try something new as a writer, and stretch my writing muscles, my new book The Enchanted Island isn't a sequel. But that said, I love Kate McDaid and it is something I might look at in a while.
