Elizabeth Johns Hi Cintia, I'm sorry you are discouraged. It is very easy in this business! I think if it were me, I would try to go back to why I began writing in the first place. Do it because you love it, and write what you love to read. There are many options open to authors now, and many resources, so you don't have to go the traditional route. Most successful authors I know were rejected many times before striking the perfect match. Don't give up on your dreams! ~EJ xx
Elizabeth Johns This story line came from a personal experience. The story over all is fictitious, but some of the ways I reacted to people or dealt with them are similar. I know everyone is not happy with the ending, but I spent too much time being angry and hurt, and letting it go was how I was able to heal. I wrote the story this way hoping it would potentially help others. Sadly in that era, men took advantage all the time (especially of servants), and if they were a person of status, people simply looked the other way. So it is more realistic than I wish...
Elizabeth Johns I stop writing and go do something else until I have an idea. Usually reading something I love motivates me.
