Josephine Calabrese CONFESSOR JOE (BOOKS 1-3)

I got the idea of my Confessor Joe books off the top of my head. As for the Italian dishes, my ethnic background is Italian so it wasn't difficult to include those menus into the story. Then there is the Madonna statue in the procession, I have a tall Madonna Statue in my home and am Catholic so I'm familiar with the religious traditions and thus an easy topic for me to include in my story. When my father came to the United States, he and others wanted to continue the tradition of honoring the Madonna, the mother of God, and had the statue constructed and masses and processions were carried out and the contributions people donated went towards building Villa Scalabrini, a center for the elderly.
