There once lived a hideous beast who gobbled up a boy with a candy bar in his pocket. The candy was the best thing he ever tasted, so he hunted down all the chocolate in the world and ate it for himself, leaving not one morsel behind.

Well don't go doing that! Stay tuned as I'll likely run another giveaway for the Kindle edition. But the paperback version is US only.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm so glad you enjoyed the book! I actually finished the manuscript for my second novel. It's not a sequel per se, but it's about Lexi's sister, Tara. So you will hear about Lexi and Jake's fate. I'm currently in the querying process with agents so it may be a bit longer yet before it's available. I will let you know once I have any updates to share :)

I must admit, I'm an eavesdropper. People reveal the most interesting things in elevators, on the train, and around the office. I'm like a sponge, absorbing these snippets of conversation. I use them to inspire my writing. For example, I overhead a girl telling her friend about a recent date where the guy got so drunk he forgot about her and left - not only the bar but the bill as well. That guy will be making an appearance in book #2!

A follow up to my debut novel, Out in the Open. This book follows Tara Winters, Lexi's sister, on her journey to finding "the one." And readers will learn about Jake and Lexi's fate along the way.

Set a goal for yourself and stick to it. Many people have told me they have a great book idea, but it's simply that, an idea. They don't know how to get started or give up mid-way through the process. Create mini milestones so they feel attainable. And celebrate once you've achieved them!
