Hi Priya, thanks for getting back to me. I already got that short story read. In fact it won the title of Finalist in the SLO Nightwriters Golden Quill Awards 2017. So am all good with that. I don't have any short stories at the moment but should have them in the future and if we work well together it would be good to see if we can be regular Critique partners. Carousel, my novella from Alban Lake, was inspired by multiple university orchestra rehearsals, where the auditorium was next to a clock tower situated in the campus's law school. The clock tower at noon started playing melodies during my sophomore year, and it would drive me nuts, especially since I couldn't figure out where the sound was coming from. The eerie but cheerful melodies, combined with writing in longhand at 7:30 AM most days when I got to campus, sparked a short story that then became a novella.

Currently I'm working on several short stories, one for a Game Fiction anthology and the other is for an online writer's salon, and ideally will revise a novel called Neo Mecca Mayhem later this summer, which is a science fiction romance set in the Japanese city of the future.
