I also loved Trustee from the toolroom, enjoyed A Town Like Alice but my favourite is Pied Piper. I loved that story, thought it was wonderful.

Yeh, there must be some decent ones, law of averages and all that, but a lot of them are spectacularly unimpressive.

It's a four way split between Andi Turbot and Doge Sneeb from Escape and Lord Vernon and The Pan of Hamgee from the K'Barthan Series. ;-)
I love all four because they were so easy to write, they just happened, I didn't need to do anything. Individually, I guess I really like The Pan because he's so unassuming yet actually very brave and a top man and he's witty, Lord Vernon because he's a bit of an evil fecker and writing his stuff was totally liberating and an absolute gas, Andi Turbot because she is pragmatic and down to earth and she's witty too Doge Sneeb because he has a fair bit of charisma.

I read that to potentially wipe out all life on earth, a meteor only has to be 500ft across. That is amazingly small in relation to the damage it would do. So it was that the Threeps, 7ft Space Lobsters, were born.

Hard to answer in 200 characters, especially when they count the spaces as well! 1960s sci-fi TV, Music, Narnia, Animation (like Cosgrove Hall). Comedy: Red Dwarf, Hitch Hiker's etc.
