Hi Nicole! I am so glad you enjoyed The One That Got Away! I don't have a release date for the Colin & Hilary book right now; it was supposed to come next, but my editor fell in love with my other book, Results May Vary, even more, so now that one is releasing on August 9th. I hope to publish the other one soon!

Hi Nicole! It is not--that is the first chapter to another book that is not currently scheduled for release. It was going to come next but then my editor fell in love with Results May Vary even more, so I don't have a date for the other one yet!

I wish I knew! We planned for it to be next, but my editor fell in love with Results May Vary instead. The book previewed at the end of TOTGA will hopefully be published in the future.

Hi Laura! Actually, the book that's previewed at the end of The One That Got Away is not coming out next... the next one, Results May Vary, is about entirely different people. I hope you will check it out and enjoy it! xo

Hey Kelly! I'm actually from Fauquier County, to the north, but I have family near Floyd, so I am familiar with the area. I'm so glad you enjoyed the book!

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry I never saw this! My next book, Results May Vary, is coming out this August 9th. I hope you will enjoy it!

I am editing a second novel which features a few of the characters from The One That Got Away in secondary roles. In case you missed it, there's a sneak peek at the first chapter in the back of The One That Got Away!

Practice. I'm not only talking about writing long-form, I mean even just practicing in conversation with other people. Train yourself to get better at manipulating words into unexpected or apt turns of phrase. It will help improve your writing at a micro level.

Connecting with other people. I've met so many wonderful readers, fellow writers, reviewers, agents, and editors; everyone has all different stuff going on but we have this incredible common thread of loving writing and books and stories. It's the greatest thing ever, and I basically want to invite you all over to my house so we can drink cocktails and talk.
