Hi Karole! Just wondering if your book, The Game Can't Love You Back (or any of your other books) is appropriate for a mature 11-year-old girl in 6th grade? Is there explicit material that would be inappropriate? She loves romance books and it's hard to find appropriate content for her in YA, especially because she can sometimes go through 2 a day! :) Thanks!

I loved your book How to Keep Rolling After a Fall. As a person who has been bullied before it kind of opened my eyes to the other side of what's going on. What was the inspiration to write a story like this?
Karole Cozzo Hi Anna - thanks so much for reaching out; I'm so glad you enjoyed the story! Well, for my day job, I work as a school psychologist, so I'm often engaged in discussions and activities related to current issues impacting teens, and cyberbullying was definitely on my radar. But beyond that, I'm always motivated to explore issues from the perspective that might not often be considered. While it's totally important for us to focus on the victims of this behavior and highlight their experiences, if we don't explore the motivations of the perpetrators... how do we begin to target the issue? I wanted to get readers and teens thinking and talking about bullying behavior and what motivates it, maybe consider their behavior on a level they hadn't before.

I just wanted to say thank you for writing How to say I love you out loud. My cousin is autistic so this book meant a lot to me. Reading the book I see my cousins siblings who are not autistic are very similar to Jordyn. It really isn't easy all the time to have to live and deal with an autistic sibling. They are in situations like some in the book. There is more to say but all I want to say is thank you! ?

this wasn't going to be a question, i just wanted to say that i think it's awesome that you hoard bath and body works 3 wick candles, because i do too! but now i want to know, which ones are your favorites? :D
Karole Cozzo Sabrina - I am happy to talk 3-wick candles with an interested party. :) It's easy to name my favorites - Harvest Coffee and the summer ones that NAIL the scents from the Jerse Shore. They've had different names over the years, but Oceanside is a good one and American Boardwalk - OMG! You can TASTE the hot caramel corn. You???
