I am a storyteller as well as a writer. I am also a folksinger. I love to take old stories of Irish mythology and update these for a modern audience.
People have asked me to record these stories and so I intend to do so. I also intend to write about the deeper meaning contained within the story that goes way beyond intellectual understanding.
I set out an outline for the first story and realized that this was more like and outline for a book.

Enter the silence within an get out of the way. This is assisted by a daily practice of meditation and prayer. The best writing happens when I am not doing it but allowing it to come through me.
The way I deal with writers block is to trust, then trust some more. It that doesn't work then I go for a walk and stay present to the moment.
