Jason Haskins Now, this may sound a little odd, but I have a tennis ball that I keep near me while writing. Usually when I'm stuck on an idea or have a little trouble getting started, I'll grab the tennis ball and walk around the room with it. I'll bounce the ball, toss it up in the air, and basically do whatever it takes to get the ideas flowing. Then I'm usually able to sit down and write. If that doesn't work, sometimes I'll write my blog just to get the action of writing started.
Jason Haskins It's been a story that's been with me since about the eighth grade. I was a big fan of fantasy/sci-novels at the time so basically the story is something I created from scratch. I've always liked to explore of what kind of obstacles underdogs go up against to achieve their goals.
Jason Haskins I am currently working on an original play entitled "The Latitude of Life". It's about three adult sisters dealing with the impending death of their father. It's about their relationship with themselves and with their father. Oh, and also he's leaving behind a rare coin worth 4.5 million dollars, but the last page of the will is missing and it doesn't say who gets the coin.
