I dwell on the story piece by having a personal dialogue or brainstorm session with an imaginary group of co-writers. I let the ideas flow, no matter how ridiculous, and make a top 10 list of the best suggestions. I also take walks and get in-tuned with (for me) God. Positive energy is creative, and when you can get into a zone where you know that all things are possible, you're inspired on a much higher level. Be creative and limitless. If you don't have an idea, just think about getting an idea (if that makes any sense). What you seek after and focus on will come eventually. Also, don't compare yourself to others; at least, not in a creative sense. Writing is like art, and artists must not belittle their contributions or feel they are not as adequate as another. Your story must be told, and their are fans (in the millions) that want to buy your book.

I'm a fan of superhero and epic action movies, and I've always considered what has not been done yet. The thought popped in mind that a true angel versus demon story has not been made, at least, not on the scale that would make things more real to the reader. So I sought out to create an original big concept story that could easily be translated into a modern epic Sci-Fi action film. But I also wanted to add the bible, history, and other relevant ideas to make the story that much more interesting.
