L.A. Logan Too many things! Haha... I tend to write anywhere from 5-10 stories at one time (which is probably why it takes me so long to finish any of them). Now that "Jessica King" is finished, I can focus on completing one of the many other stories I've been working on.
L.A. Logan I step away - maybe for a few hours, maybe for a few days - and I completely think about the story from start to finish. I ask myself if what's happened so far is going in the original direction, or if maybe there's a new plot emerging and the ending I first thought of no longer works. Most of all, I focus on how I want the characters to develop and try to make the decisions that best represent who they are and what makes sense for that point of the story.
L.A. Logan I love when I'm so absorbed by a story line that I can completely lose myself in writing it. When I am able to block out what's going on around me and focus solely on the story and characters - this is when writing takes on a life of its own and the story kind of starts to tell itself.
L.A. Logan Write what makes you happy... something you would want to read! You should be excited about the characters and stories you bring to life. Have fun and take chances - you have a voice and you should create characters that you can speak through.
