Valery G. Olsen Inspiration never strikes us at the right time, so I recommend carrying some sort of notebook everywhere!
Valery G. Olsen The best thing about being a writer is getting to express yourself through your imagination. It's like painting a picture with words and thoughts, then blurring the edges to make the important stuff stand out to the reader.
Valery G. Olsen I take a break, read something that relaxes my mind, or go through my bazillion notes in my notebook specifically filled with ideas and thoughts about my book.
Or I research things that have been bothering me for the genetics or worlds in my stories. The funny thing is that the best ideas usually come to me when I am listening to the Tron: Legacy soundtrack or when I am in the shower. Yup! The shower. Valery G. Olsen I just finished the first draft for Perigee, but I am also working on a few new books that will start separate series.
