David Blomstrom It's 2024, and the two leading candidates in the pResidential primary are, as always, a Democrat and a Republican. One of them gets (s)elected.
David Blomstrom I'm driven largely by curiosity but also by a quest for power. I'm tired of being overshadowed by corporate media that never tired of burying me in their lies. I want to make my voice heard for a change.

Of course, another incentive is success. Becoming a successful writer would be quite a fantasy. ;)
David Blomstrom Conspiracy is all around us; it's a fact of life. As a former teacher in a corrupt school district turned political activist, I've experienced more conspiracies than I can count.

Yet there's an army of propagandists that have many people convinced that conspiracy doesn't even exist! They've turned the term "conspiracy theory" into the name of a medical condition.

I'm determined to set the record straight. In that spirit, my book What Is Conspiracy? features FIVE chapters focusing on definitions alone.

It's what you might call an essential reference.
David Blomstrom Don't give up your day job. If you write because you simply enjoy it, no problem. But if you want to make a living as a writer, beware. No matter how good you are, the road can be long and tortuous. The competition is utterly mind boggling: you're up against thousands, if not millions, of professionals, bloggers and idiots cranking out epubs that aren't even worth looking at.

Obviously, you're going to have to be good to succeed, so do whatever you can to improve your writing skills.

And don't expect to write one magic book and retire a millionaire. You're probably going to have to write several books before you produce that magic book - if you're lucky. Think in terms of a series.
David Blomstrom Conspiracy Science - www.conspiracy1.com. I recently published What is Conspiracy?: More than a Theory, which is sort of a prequel. Conspiracy Science is a huge reference; I haven't seen anything like it. So I'm very excited about it. I hope to have it finished by the end of May or June.
David Blomstrom Writing sharpens your mind. I hate to be rude, but I think most Americans are shockingly ignorant, to put it politely. If more people were writers, they would be forced to do a little research and actually think about the ideas they want to communicate.

Of course, another great thing about writing - for the fortunate few who succeed at it - is freedom. If I could publish three or four really good books and make enough money to live on, then I'd have the freedom to...well, write three or four more book!
David Blomstrom You're asking the wrong person, because I don't have that problem. I focus on non-fiction, and I have many interests. However, I mostly write about politix, except for a series of books about national and state symbols I'm working on. It would take three lifetimes to finish all the projects I've begun. ;)
