J.M. Forster The idea for Shadow Jumper came from my two sons and my dad. When my boys were younger they used to jump from one shadow to the next whilst walking to school. My dad for as long as I can remember has suffered from a debilitating skin condition which means he can't spend time in the sun. So my character, Jack, was born - a boy who suffers from an allergy to sunlight who spends the twilight hours on the roofs jumping from one shadow to the next. A risky hobby but he thinks the buzz is worth the danger.
