I've always told stories as a way of regular communication. I found that my kids remembered all of the stories I made up when they were little, just to get a point or moral across.
I like to think that when I tell stories, my audience is both visualizing -- and adding their own interpretation to it.
But being able to create a story that changes people's lives -- that's amazing!

The story itself came to me from spirit while helping my wife Karen Valiquette write he second book, "Soul Journaling - The Journey Continues". It was a story that one of the characters told to his daughter.

I'm finishing the illustrations for The Princess in the Clouds right now. I'm also doing the final editing on my wife's new book, "Soul Journaling - Saving Atlantis".

I think I have less of a problem blocking on the writing than I do on the illustrations. I'm not good at doing progressive illustrations until the final is correct. I like to go right to the final. That puts a lot of pressure on me so I block. But I use the blocking time to work the image out in my head. And then, i dive in! I'm usually pleased with the results.
