J.A. Coppinger Write. It's that simple. Even if it's absolute crap you'll delete later, the only way out, is through . . .
J.A. Coppinger The chance to play God, of course! Entire worlds and people depend upon my slightest whim! Ahh, the joy and arrogance inherent in creation!! :-)
J.A. Coppinger Write. Write for the sake of writing and don't be worried about not being good enough, or making it big. If you put down a story that only ten people read, then you've at least changed the lives of ten people. That's an accomplishment in itself!
J.A. Coppinger I'm working on final edits in my next novel: "Where Dead Fish Go" a supernatural/horror modern fantasy. I'm also finishing the last few chapters of the first book of an epic fantasy series. Lastly, I've started work on my second book in "Tales of the Godslayer". I'm only a few thousand words in but I'm liking it so far . . .
J.A. Coppinger Inspiration isn't really an issue for me. I'm always working stories in the back of my head and when I sit down to write, they just sort of pour out onto the page. Finding the actual time to write in my crazy life . . . now that's an entirely different story!
J.A. Coppinger The Screaming God started as a short story nearly two decades ago. I loved the voice of Godslayer- the main character- so much that I kept tinkering with it over the years and it sort of grew to novel length all on its own!
