(view spoiler)[Ever since finishing Changeling...I know this is probably going to make me sound like such a weirdo, but I'm curious and I really wanted to see a sex scene play out with Silver and Mez, haha. I mean...5?! Jeez. LOL. Did you at any point have something written out that that detailed the scene. My apologies for bringing the strange! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[You're not bringing the strange any more than I did in the first place, Rose! ;) My purpose in writing that brief love scene between Mez and Silver was to illustrate how being a completely different species would inevitably change every part of a romantic relationship. I'm not overly specific with love scenes because I like to capture emotions not erotica. I have to choose how much I include with an eye to audience as well. If I get too graphic then it would force an age cap.
Fan fiction is always an option...lol. I'm curious myself! (hide spoiler)]

There is no such thing. If you're not writing it is because you're not ready. Go do something else until the front of your mind catches up with the back. Relax. Listen to music. Draw, paint, read or just go to the park. Be somewhere or do something unrelated to the story and it will pounce on you and consume your mind.

Freedom to dream. Writing is a long stretch of the brain after a nap in the everyday world. You can build the fantastical or the ordinary but whatever you do - it will be yours. The thoughts of limits fade away and the people you pull together letter by letter, word by word - begin to have souls.

Just do it. Do it and do it and do it. Listen with half an ear to those around you and decide for yourself what you can and can't use. Be open to other writers - being around other people who create is a wonderful inspiration and you can learn from one another's mistakes.

Currently I'm working on the fifth book in the Weaver Series entitled, DESCENT. It's going slower since I'm also trying to be a small businesswoman and my own marketing team but I'm loving the twists and turns it has taken so far.

Daydreams, music and getting out of my own way.

My most recent book, PHOENIX, due to release in the spring of 2015 branched off from the first three books in the Weaver Series. The Weaver Series was a random daydream question that morphed into an obsession. I've never been so taken in by a thought. It was invigorating.
