Sitting down and writing is the only thing that works. So far I haven't experienced a major block using this method. Once I start writing It seems to build on itself. I also read and this inspires me in two ways. Sometimes I feel I can do it better and that inspires me and sometimes I'm reading something really good and it moves me to try.

I've only written one book, so I don't want to be presumptuous, but the truth is to write this one book I wrote five..It's a lot of work and you have to keep plugging away. Ninety percent of writing is re-writing. Don't fall in love with everything you put on the page, but believe in what you write and if you write something that you like don't play with it. My inclination was always to try and make it better, sometimes you can, but sometimes it's perfect and you will only spoil it.

I have started my second book, the working title is: Caroline. I don't know what it is about yet or how long it will take to complete. all I know so far is that Caroline has returned home.
